Hobo Campground

We learned two things on this trip. We can handle going camping together, the kids love to camp and they are very adventurous but we also learned that it is still too cold to go camping in April. We took the tent trailer and went to the lowest campground but the nights were just too cold. We loved the site though. There was a fishing trail that was just long enough for the kids and very pretty scenery. There were also hot springs which we all loved the hike was worth it. Paige had fun too as long as she wasn't dirty.

Gymnastics

The girls got to earn a sports badge for Girl Scouts at American Kids Gymnastics. This was a dream come true for both of them but mostly Kaylie she loved every second of it. I would love to be able to let her go more often.

Disneyland 2008

Our April trip to Disneyland was lots of fun. We got to go on all the rides we missed the first time. We loved Finding Nemo, that was Paige's favorite too. Nate got to be a ninja and train with Darthvator. We got more princess photos and autographs and we went until midnight, the kids were wanting to stay longer. It will probably be a while until we go again so this might have been the last year we go and the kids are still young enough to love every minute of it. I know they will always enjoy it but when you are young it is magical.

I want to draw

Paige's favorite thing to do lately is draw and she calls it by name. She has been very loud screaming whenever she is excited or whenever she doesn't get her way and it is hard on all of us. Her excitement and energy is constant. For the most part though she is a lot of fun and she makes all of us laugh every day.

Grandma and Grandpa Krumm

We had a great time having Grandma and Grandpa Krumm stay with us for a couple of weeks. They camped out in our tent trailer most of their stay and then they camped out in our front room the last couple of days in the warm house. We had a great time going on walks, riding bikes and of course the trip to Dewars. We even got to go to Hannah Montana in concert at the theatre. We hope they had as much fun as we did.

Avila Beach

We had a memorable time with Great Grandma and Grandpa Bigelow Feb 3rd to Feb 8th. The girls were on independent study so we could take advantage of spending time with both sets of their Great Grandparents and their Grandma Bulkeley. We went to the beach every day and the water was so cold that even the girls only got their feet wet. They got wet every day at the pool though and spent most of the time in the hot tub. We had our own room and that was for the sanity of those who are not used to Paige. We are working on the screaming for both happiness and not getting what she wants. It will be a long battle. We got to go to Shell Beach and the girls touched sea in enemies and loved exploring. We also saw the butterflies at Pismo Beach and had fish and chips. We will always remember the memories we shared with everyone. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Bigelow for the condo and thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Richards for coming we loved your company. Also we can't forget Grandma Bulkeley for feeding us every day while we were there. I love spending time with family expecially at the beach!
